India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Rajgir on 19 June to attend the program of International Nalanda University. PM Modi is expected to arrive to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the newly built campus of Nalanda University. During this, he will also address students from India and abroad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Rajgir for the first time.
Know what is the schedule of PM’s arrival
According to the information, PM Modi’s Rajgir visit will start from Banaras. On June 19, he will fly from Banaras Airport to Gaya at 8:30 AM. He will arrive at Gaya Airport at 9:10 AM. During this, his helicopter will fly again from Gaya Airport at 9:20 AM for Nalanda district, where his helicopter will land at 10:50 AM on the helipad built in the International Nalanda University campus located in Rajgir of Nalanda district. From the helipad, he will go to the university with his convoy.
He will reach the main venue Sushma Swaraj Auditorium via the campus road at 10 am. PM Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate the newly built campus of Nalanda University during the ceremony.
Will stay in Bihar for one and a half hours
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present in the ceremony from 10 am to 11:30 am, i.e. for a total of one and a half hours. According to the information, he will address the students from India and abroad studying at Nalanda University. Then after the ceremony ends at 11:45 am, PM Modi will leave for Gaya by helicopter.
